In order to realize the concept of the marathon, “to a marathon where everyone can enjoy sports and everyone can participate,” child-care service will be provided on the day of the marathon. Saitama Marathon aims to make it easier for runners raising children to participate.

0 years old (over 3 months old) – 8 years old (3rd grade elementary school student)
*Parents must run the Saitama Marathon 2026 to be eligible to use the program.
Application Period
Around December 2025 – January 2026

*If there are too many applications, a drawing will be held.
All applicants will be notified of the results of the drawing. Winners will be contacted separately by the consignor.

*Please transfer the funds to the designated account in advance. The due date of the bank transfer will be announced separately after the application deadline. Please note that no refunds will be made for cancellations after payment has been made.
For use of childcare services outside of the above hours, an extension fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) per 30 minutes will be charged. Please note that the maximum extension is 4:30 p.m.
You will need to bring diapers, lunch, etc.
Even if you forget to bring necessary belongings, the facility will not provide them.

In order to respond to unforeseen accidents, the contractor is insured and will provide compensation within the scope of insurance coverage.
However, this does not apply to cases of force majeure or causes other than the sitter’s negligence.

How to use childcare
What to bring (tentative)
1) Parent’s ID (driver’s license, health insurance card, etc.)
2) This copy of the “Childcare Application Form” (Please fill out, seal, and hand it to the childcare staff on the day of use)

(3) Maternal and Child Health Handbook
(4) Please bring the following items as needed.
Lunch (if childcare is provided at 12:00)
・Snack (if childcare is provided at 15:00)
*Konnyaku jelly, candy, and gum are not acceptable.
・Feeding powder, baby bottle (if multiple feedings are required, please bring the number of bottles needed)
・Diaper, wipes
・Change of clothes
・Towel for wiping hands
・Nap hanging bath towel (jacket, etc. is acceptable) ・Plastic bag
A few plastic bags (for soiled clothes), etc.
・Beverages (water bottles, etc.)
*We cannot accept frozen breast milk or items that require cooking (including microwave ovens).

(1) No meals are provided in the nursery.
(2) All lunches, snacks and drinks will be given to you.
If you have any allergies or require special consideration for childcare, please inform us when the consignment service provider contacts you after the application deadline.

(1) Please come to the room after your child has finished washing up.
(2) If your child has a fever (37.5°C or higher), infection, or other health problems on the day of the visit, we will not be able to accommodate your child. Also, if the childcare staff determines that your child is not suitable for group childcare, we may refuse to accept your child.
In case of emergency, we will call you by cell phone. Please be sure to fill in your emergency contact information (other than the runner) on the “Application for Childcare (separate information)” form. In such cases, we ask that you respond promptly.
(4) Please inform us if you have any allergies or need special consideration for childcare.
(5) The childcare staff will not administer medication.
(6) Please be punctual for both drop-off and pick-up.
Please write your name on all of your belongings.
We will not be responsible for any lost or misplaced items that are not marked with your name.
(8) In order to provide a calm environment for the children and to prevent infection, please do not enter the room unless you are at the reception desk or picking up your child. Please have only one parent/guardian at the reception desk. Please let us know in advance if you will be changing the parent or guardian between the time you drop off and pick up your child.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not contact us on the day of use and 30 minutes have passed from the reserved start time, your reservation may be cancelled. Please note that the childcare fee will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.
Please contact us at the address indicated on the childcare application form (to be sent separately) on the day of the event.
Handling of Personal Information

(2) Purpose of Use: Provision of childcare services and emergency contact, Saitama Marathon publicity photos
(3) Provision and Consignment: No information will be provided or consigned to third parties other than the Saitama Marathon organizers and Alpha Corporation, Inc. (4) Voluntariness: If you do not give your consent, we will not use your personal information.

- The information you provide on the application form will be provided to the consignee (Alpha Corporation, Inc.).

FAQ
QDo you have a microwave oven and refrigerator?
A No facilities are available in the temporary nursery. Please bring food and beverages that can be stored at room temperature.
QDo I need a futon for naps?
A The nursery will provide the towels, so there is no need to bring your own, but you will need to bring a bath towel.
Q I want to bring in my favorite toy.
A We are not responsible for any damage or loss of toys that you bring with you. To avoid problems, we do not recommend it.
Q Can I leave my stroller or baby carrier with you?
A Yes, we will take care of it.
