In order to realize the concept of the Saitama Marathon as “an event in which everyone can participate” and to allow more people to enjoy the event, the entry qualifications for the wheelchair category have been changed as follows effective Friday, September 15, at noon. We look forward to receiving your entries.

Before change

　Elementary school students and older who regularly use a wheelchair

　*Competition wheelchairs are not allowed.

After the change

　Elementary school students and older who use wheelchairs and other equipment in their daily lives

　*In addition to wheelchairs (self-propelled or assisted) used in daily life,
　　Electric wheelchairs, walkers on wheels, etc. are welcome to participate.

　*Competition wheelchairs are not allowed.
